HOW DOES A THERMOSTATIC MIXER WORK? TAKUMIZIMA’s thermostatic mixer includes two valves: a thermostatic valve and an integrated function valve. The thermostatic valve adjusts the water temperature, and the integrated function valve turns the device on/off and controls water flow. The thermostatic valve has a pre-set safety stop at 38°C (100.4°F). The temperature override button allows the user to exceed this temperature, reaching temperatures up to 50°C (122°F). It provides temperature control, thermal stability, and temperature memory.
Wall-Mounted Temperature Control Technology The new built-in system from TAKUMIZIMA makes it easier to install the thermostatic mixer into the wall, even before tiling or plastering, and allows adjustment of the valve’s position and depth as required. The safety system protects the mixer from debris and allows easy access for maintenance and replacement of cartridges and filters.
