Material of the Showerhead

The FC-0606T shower faucet is made from brass (also known as "Brass"), an alloy that is highly resistant to corrosion, meaning it will not rust or tarnish over time. Additionally, brass is easy to machine, which allows it to be molded and cast into various shapes and sizes for different parts of the shower faucet.

National standards specify that the brass content in shower faucets is 59%, with 40% zinc, 1-1.9% lead, and the remaining composition made up of elements such as copper, commonly referred to as 59 brass.

Showerhead Production Process

When selecting shower faucet products, it is important to choose brass with a content of 59-62%. Brass with a lower content may have insufficient ductility and corrosion resistance, which will not be ideal.

Shower faucets are produced using the casting method, where the raw products are smoothed and then plated using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. PVD is a plasma coating process where materials are vaporized in a vacuum environment, making it the most advanced plating technology available today. The plating thickness on the faucet reaches nearly 50µm, creating a uniform surface with lasting color.

As a result, the plated surfaces of these shower faucets are highly durable and aesthetically pleasing.

Advanced Technology of the Showerhead

The FC-0606T shower faucet uses SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) thermal mixing technology, which is the most advanced thermal mixing technology currently available for shower models. The core of the shower faucet, also known as the cartridge, is its temperature control valve core. This core can automatically adjust according to the set temperature and provides excellent anti-scalding functionality. If you accidentally touch the switch and the water temperature exceeds the set limit, it will automatically shut off the water flow.

        Elderly people and children at home should use temperature-controlled shower faucets. The mixing valve will automatically adjust the hot and cold water flow to maintain a stable water temperature at the desired level. Notably, the cartridges in all Takumizima shower faucets are from the renowned WH brand, which is famous in the bathroom accessories industry.

The water temperature and flow rate for each function of the shower faucet are adjusted using two rotary knobs located at the front of the mixing valve. Each function is clearly labeled with intuitive images, making it easy to understand and use. Additionally, the FC-0606T model is equipped with an LED display that shows the exact water temperature, helping users maintain precise control over the water temperature. The water flow generates the power for the LED light.

Notably, if there is an issue with the cold water supply (such as blockage or water shortage), the mixing valve will almost immediately shut off to prevent burns or discomfort for the user.

          The FC-0606T shower faucet features an air-mixing spray function. This function injects air into the water through the shower nozzles, causing the water to oscillate under the influence of spiral water flow and aerodynamics, forming a mixture of air and water. This creates a strong yet balanced water pressure, providing a very pleasant and comfortable feeling when showering.

         The showerhead and handheld shower of the FC-0606T shower faucet are equipped with nozzles made of soft, non-slip rubber, making it easy to clean any calcium deposits that may build up. With a simple swipe of the nozzles, the calcium deposits are automatically pushed out, preventing blockages and misalignment of the water flow over time. Additionally, when the water is turned off, the nozzles retract, preventing any remaining water from dripping out of the showerhead or handheld shower, thus avoiding any inconvenience for the user.

           The thermal mixing valve of the FC-0606T shower faucet uses SMA thermal mixing technology, with the water inlet for the mixing valve shortened to the minimum possible length. As a result, the hot water enters the thermal mixing valve almost immediately without coming into direct contact with the shower face. Combined with the thick, durable casting of the valve housing, this design helps prevent heat dissipation into the surrounding environment, minimizing water temperature loss during use and ensuring safety by preventing burns for the user.

         The FC-0606T shower faucet has two water inlet paths equipped with filters to prevent clogging of the thermal mixing valve. With a standard distance of 15cm between the two water supply pipes, the FC-0606T shower is easy to install, repair, and replace older products.
