Material of the Shower Faucet

The EL-1451D Shower Faucet is made from brass, a corrosion-resistant alloy that does not rust or discolor over time. Brass is also highly malleable, making it easy to shape and cast into various forms and sizes for different shower faucet components. According to national standards, brass in shower faucets contains 59% copper, 40% zinc, 1-1.9% lead, with the remaining elements including zinc, commonly referred to as 59 brass.

Shower Faucet Production Process

When choosing shower faucet products, it is recommended to select brass with a copper content of 59-62%. Brass with a lower copper content may not have ideal malleability and corrosion resistance. The shower faucet models are produced using the casting method, where the raw products are smoothed and coated using PVD coating technology. PVD (Plasma Vapor Deposition) is a state-of-the-art coating process where materials are vaporized in a vacuum, and the plasma coating is deposited onto the surface. The coating thickness reaches up to 50µm, creating a smooth, durable, and colorfast surface. Therefore, the coated surface of the shower faucets is highly durable and aesthetically pleasing.

Advanced Technology of the Shower Faucet

The EL-1451D shower faucet utilizes the advanced SMA thermal mixing technology, which is currently the most cutting-edge thermal mixing technology for shower faucets. The core of the faucet, known as the cartridge, is the thermal control valve. This core can self-regulate according to the set temperature and has an excellent anti-scalding function. If the switch is accidentally touched and the water temperature exceeds the set value, the faucet will automatically cut off the water supply.

        Elderly people and children at home should use thermostatic shower faucets. The mixing valve will automatically adjust the flow of hot and cold water to maintain a stable output temperature, ensuring it is always at the desired level. In particular, the cartridge in all Takumizima shower faucets is supplied by WH, a well-known brand in the bathroom fittings and accessories industry.

       The water temperature and flow rate for each function of the EL-1451D shower faucet can be adjusted using the control knobs on both sides of the mixing valve. Each function is clearly labeled with easy-to-understand images for user convenience. Additionally, with modern thermostatic mixing technology, the EL-1451D shower faucet is equipped with a child safety lock. To increase the output water temperature above 38°C, the user must press a button to continue turning the temperature control knob. In particular, if there is a problem with the cold water supply to the shower (such as a blockage or no water flow), the mixing valve will immediately shut off to prevent burns or discomfort to the user.

           The EL-1451D shower faucet features an air mixing spray function. This function pumps air into the water through the showerheads, which oscillate under the influence of the spiral water path and aerodynamics, forming a mixture of air and water. This creates water jets with just the right amount of pressure, providing a stable and comfortable showering experience on the body.

         The showerhead and handheld shower of the EL-1451D shower faucet are equipped with spray nozzles made from soft, non-latex rubber, making it easy to clean calcium deposits that build up. With a simple wiping motion, the calcium deposits are automatically pushed out, preventing blockages and misalignment of the water flow over time. Additionally, when the water is turned off, the spray nozzles retract, preventing any leftover water from dripping out of the showerhead or handheld shower, ensuring no inconvenience for the user.

           The EL-1451D shower faucet uses an SMA thermostatic mixing valve with the shortest possible water inlet path to the mixer. As a result, hot water enters the thermostatic mixing valve almost immediately without making direct contact with the shower surface. Additionally, the thick, cast shell helps prevent heat dissipation to the external environment, minimizing heat loss during use and preventing burns, ensuring safe usage for the user.

          The EL-1451D shower faucet with two water inlets is equipped with a filter to prevent clogging of the thermostatic mixing valve. With a standard distance of 15cm between the two water inlet connections, the EL-1451D shower faucet allows for easy installation, maintenance, and replacement of old products.
