Shower Head Manufacturing Process

When choosing a shower head product, it is important to select brass with a composition of 59-62%. Brass with a lower content may not provide ideal ductility and corrosion resistance. Shower heads are produced using the casting method, where the raw components are smoothed and then coated with two layers of Nickel and Chrome using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. This is a modern coating process where materials are vaporized in a vacuum environment. The coating thickness on the shower head reaches nearly 50µm, resulting in a mirror-like finish. Therefore, the plated surface of the shower heads offers high durability and aesthetic appeal.

Advanced Technology of the Shower Head

The FC-4003 shower head uses the SMA thermal mixing technology, which is the most advanced thermal mixing technology currently available for shower head models. The core of the shower head, also known as the cartridge, is its temperature control valve. This core can automatically adjust according to the set temperature and has excellent burn protection functionality. If the water temperature exceeds the set limit, it will automatically shut off the water to prevent burns.

        Elderly people and children at home should use a thermostatic shower. The mixing valve will automatically adjust the amount of hot and cold water to maintain a stable water temperature according to the desired setting. In particular, the cartridge used in all Takumizima shower heads is from the renowned WH brand, which is well-known in the bathroom accessories and equipment industry.

        The water temperature and flow rate for each function of the FC-4003 shower head are adjusted using the rotating knobs on both sides of the mixing valve. Each function is clearly labeled with easy-to-understand instructions, making it user-friendly. Additionally, with modern thermal mixing technology, the FC-4003 shower head is equipped with a child safety lock. To increase the output water temperature above 38°C, users must press a button to continue rotating the temperature control knob. Moreover, if there is a problem with the cold water supply (such as a blockage or water shortage), the mixing valve will almost immediately shut off the water to prevent burns or scalding for the user. 

           The FC-4003 shower head features an air-mixing spray function. This function involves pumping air into the water through the shower nozzles, which oscillate under the influence of water dynamics and aerodynamics, forming a mixture of air and water. This creates a strong yet balanced water pressure, providing a very pleasant and comfortable feeling when showering.

           The shower head and hand shower of the FC-4003 are equipped with nozzles made of soft, non-toxic silicone material, which makes it easy to clean calcium deposits that may accumulate. By simply gently wiping the nozzles, the calcium deposits will be automatically pushed out, preventing clogs and misalignment of the water flow over time. Additionally, when the water is turned off, the nozzles will retract, preventing any remaining water in the shower head or hand shower from dripping, which could cause inconvenience for the user.

           The thermal mixing valve of the FC-4003 shower head uses SMA thermal mixing technology, with the water inlet for the mixer shortened to the minimum possible length. As a result, hot water flows almost immediately into the thermal mixing unit without directly contacting the shower head surface. Additionally, with its thick cast shell, it prevents heat dissipation into the surrounding environment, reducing temperature loss during use and ensuring the safety of the user by preventing burns.

          The FC-4003 shower head features two water inlets equipped with filters to prevent clogging of the thermal mixing valve. With a standard distance of 15 cm between the two water supply connections, the FC-4003 shower is easy to install, repair, and replace older products.
