Material of the Shower Pole

The SM-999M Shower Pole is made from brass (also known as Brass), a corrosion-resistant alloy that does not rust or tarnish over time. Additionally, brass is easy to process, allowing it to be shaped and cast into various forms and sizes for the shower components. National standards specify that the brass content in shower poles is 59%, with zinc content of 40%, lead at 1-1.9%, and the remainder being elements like zinc, which is referred to as 59 brass.

Shower Pole Manufacturing Process

When selecting shower pole products, we should choose brass with a composition of 59-62%. Brass that is too low in quality will not provide ideal malleability and corrosion resistance. Shower poles are manufactured using die-casting techniques. The raw products are then smoothed and coated with PVD plating technology, which is a modern process involving plasma coating deposition. The materials are vaporized in a vacuum environment, which is the most advanced plating technology available today. The thickness of the plating layer can reach nearly 50µm, creating a smooth, durable surface with long-lasting color. As a result, the plated surface of the shower poles has high durability and aesthetic appeal.

Advanced Technology of Shower Poles

The SM-999M shower pole uses the SMA thermal mixing technology, which is the most advanced thermal mixing technology currently available for shower models. The core of the shower pole, also known as the cartridge, is its temperature control valve. This core can automatically adjust according to the set temperature and has excellent anti-scalding functions. If the temperature exceeds the set level due to accidental contact with the switch, the system will automatically cut off the water flow to prevent burns.

        Elderly people and children at home should use thermostatic shower faucets. The mixing valve will automatically adjust the amount of hot and cold water to maintain a stable output temperature at the desired level. Especially, the cartridge used in all Takumizima shower faucets is supplied by WH, a renowned brand in the bathroom accessories industry.

        The water temperature and flow rate for each function of the SM-999M shower faucet can be adjusted using the rotary knobs on both sides of the mixing valve. Each function is clearly labeled with easy-to-understand instructions for user convenience. Additionally, with advanced thermostatic mixing technology, the SM-999M shower faucet is equipped with a child lock button. To increase the water temperature above 38°C, users must press the button to continue turning the temperature control knob. Notably, if there is a problem with the cold water supply (e.g., blockage or failure to supply water), the mixing valve will almost immediately shut off to prevent burns or discomfort for the user.

         The showerhead and hand shower of the SM-999M shower faucet are equipped with nozzles made of soft, flexible silicone, which makes it easy to clean any calcium deposits that accumulate. Simply wiping the nozzles will automatically push out the calcium buildup, preventing clogging and misalignment of the water flow over time. Additionally, when the water is turned off, the nozzles will retract, preventing any residual water from dripping down from the showerhead or hand shower, avoiding inconvenience for the user.

           The SM-999M shower faucet uses an SMA thermal mixing system with a water inlet that is shortened to the minimum possible length. As a result, hot water flows almost immediately into the thermal mixing unit without making direct contact with the shower face. Additionally, the thick, molded casing helps prevent heat dissipation into the surrounding environment, minimizing heat loss during use and ensuring safety by preventing burns to the user.

The SM-999M shower faucet has two water inlets equipped with a filter to prevent clogging of the thermal mixing system. With a standard distance of 15cm between the two water inlets, the SM-999M shower faucet is easy to install, repair, and replace old products.
