Material of the Showerhead

The EL-1456 showerhead faucet is made from brass, a corrosion-resistant alloy that does not rust or discolor over time. Additionally, brass is easy to process, allowing the faucet components to be molded and cast into various shapes and sizes. According to national standards, the brass content in the showerhead faucet is 59%, zinc (Zn) content is 40%, lead is between 1-1.9%, and the remaining elements include zinc, referred to as "59 brass".

Showerhead Production Process

When selecting a shower faucet, it is important to choose brass with a composition of 59-62%. Brass with too low a composition will have inadequate ductility and corrosion resistance. Showerhead faucets are produced using a casting method, and the raw components are then smoothed and coated using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. This is a plasma coating deposition process where materials are vaporized under vacuum conditions, representing the most advanced coating technology available today. The coating thickness of the faucet reaches nearly 50µm, creating a uniform and colorfast surface. Therefore, the coated surface of these showerheads offers high durability and aesthetic appeal.

Advanced Technology of the Showerhead

The EL-1456 showerhead faucet uses SMA thermal mixing technology, which is the most advanced thermal mixing technology currently available for shower models. The core of the showerhead, also known as the cartridge, is its thermostat valve core. This core can automatically regulate the temperature according to the preset settings and offers excellent anti-scalding functionality. If the temperature exceeds the preset limit due to accidental contact with the switch, it will automatically shut off the water flow.

        Elderly people and children at home should use thermostatic shower faucets. The mixing valve will automatically adjust the amount of hot and cold water to ensure a stable water temperature at the desired level. Notably, the cartridges in all Takumizima showerheads are from WH, a well-known brand in the bathroom equipment and accessories industry.

        The water temperature and flow rate for each function of the EL-1456 showerhead faucet are adjusted using the rotary knobs on both sides of the mixing valve. Each function is clearly labeled with intuitive images, making it easy to understand and use. Additionally, with advanced thermal mixing technology, the EL-1456 showerhead is equipped with a child lock button. If the user wants to increase the water temperature above 38°C, they must press the button to continue rotating the temperature control knob. Notably, if there is an issue with the cold water supply to the shower (such as blockage or no water supply), the mixing valve will almost immediately shut off to prevent burns or discomfort to the user.

           The EL-1456 showerhead faucet features an air-mixing spray function. This function pumps air into the water through the shower nozzles, which oscillate due to the effects of the spiral water flow and aerodynamics, creating a mixture of air and water. This produces strong yet gentle and stable water jets, providing a very pleasant sensation when showering.

         The showerhead and handheld shower of the EL-1456 shower faucet are equipped with nozzles made from soft silicone, which makes it easy to clean calcium deposits that accumulate. With a simple swipe of the nozzles, the calcium deposits will be automatically pushed out, preventing blockages and misalignment of the water flow over time. Additionally, when the water is turned off, the nozzles will retract, preventing any remaining water from dripping out of the showerhead or handheld shower, ensuring no inconvenience for the user.

           The thermal mixing valve of the EL-1456 showerhead faucet uses SMA thermal mixing technology, with the water inlet to the mixing valve shortened to the minimum possible length. As a result, hot water enters the thermal mixing unit almost immediately without coming into direct contact with the showerhead surface. Combined with the thick, cast casing, this design prevents heat dissipation into the surrounding environment, minimizing heat loss during use and ensuring that it does not cause burns, making it safe for users.

          The EL-1456 showerhead faucet features dual water inlets equipped with filters to prevent clogging of the thermal mixing valve. With a standard spacing of 15cm between the two water supply lines, the EL-1456 showerhead is easy to install, repair, and replace with older products.
